Beijing Hanmi Pharm. Co., Ltd. was founded on March 27, 1996. The number of Beijing Hanmi employees is constantly increased, and the scale of operation is enlarged constantly from a dozen of people leasing an office at the beginning to more than 1,400 people owning independent production base and sales network covering the whole country now. As early as spring in 1988, representative council member of Korea Hanmi Pharm. Joint-Stock Company, Mr. Sheng-ji Lin and council member Mr. Yong-xu Li came to China and investigated Chinese drug market in Beijing and Changchun. Since then, Mr. Sheng-ji Lin and executive council member and factory manager of Korea Hanmi Pharm. Joint-Stock Company, Mr. Chang-xuan Li came to China many times for investigation and finally decided Beijing as the development base of Korea Hanmi in China. During investigation in Beijing, Korea Hanmi Pharm. Joint-Stock Company and Beijing No.3 Pharmaceutical Factory (now Beijing Zizhu Pharm. Co., Ltd.) make an all-around contact to establish cooperation relationship.
In April 1992, Korea Hanmi Pharm. Joint-Stock Company established a liaison office in Beijing to be responsible for investigating and surveying domestic drug market and handling specific matters about cooperation with Beijing No.3 Pharmaceutical Factory. After two years of investigation, Korea Hanmi Pharm. Joint-Stock Company decided to introduce a microecological preparation – “Live Combined Bacillus Subtilis and Enterococcus Faecium Granules with Multivitamines (Medilac-Vita)” into China.
In May 1994, Korea Hanmi changed the liaison office into an office to contact the general agent for trial sales of imported original “Medilac-Vita” and prepared to establish a joint-venture enterprise with Beijing No.3 Pharmaceutical Factory.

In 2008, Beijing Hanmi established a business center integrating “research and development, production and sales”, which became a new milestone in its development history.
In 2008, the research and development center was constructed and put into operation.
In 2020, Beijing Hanmi Pharm will focus on building a digital and standardized management system to enhance the operation and management capabilities of the enterprise. On the basis of the perfect production automation, the use of the Internet technology, combined with years of accumulation of industry knowledge, technical skill and management concept, the GMP factory computer system is developed .It is made up of two parts: the inner internet to support the enterprise production and operation，as well as the external internet to realize communication with external system, ensure the safety of products and production.
In 2021, the intelligent automation warehouse and the drug workshop known as "the largest scale oral liquid production line in China" with a total investment of 300 million yuan were completed and brought into operation.
