At 8:02 am on April 20 in Lushan county of Ya’an city in Sichuan province, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake occurred. The Ya'an quake had resulted in serious casualties and economic losses.

To lend a helping hand and support reconstruction work with the people in the disaster areas, Beijing Hanmi pharm. Co., Ltd held an emergency special session to raise donations for the disaster area On May 3. The employees participated in the  activity and donated 110,840.15 yuan. The donation had been forwarded through the China Population Welfare Foundation to Ya'an disaster area. The company would continue to help the peope in the disaster area.
